Let me tell you a story.  But first, let me say that my story has a happy ending, because I discovered a solution that helped me regain my life and exceed my dreams.

The details of the story that I am about to reveal to you begin in November, 2008.  I was an early victim of the Great Recession that many people, perhaps yourself included, are feeling the effects of to this day.

On Friday, November 7th, I received a pink slip ending 10+ years in my first real job out of college.  Like many young families, my wife Molly and I had purchased our first home four years earlier and had recently refinanced to take advantage of the equity we had built as a result of rising property values to build an addition and do some renovations.  As a result, we were mortgaged to the hilt and living from paycheck to paycheck.

Losing my job came out of the blue, completely catching me off-guard.  My wife Molly was a stay-at-home mom, caring for our two young children, and I was now unemployed at what seemed to me to be the worst possible time!

The original lotto games challenged players to select six winning lottery numbers from a larger group of lotto numbers.  In state lotteries, the group of lottery numbers can be as few as 25 (in West Virginia) or as many as 59 (in New York).  The fewer lottery numbers you have to choose from, the easier it is to win lotto prizes.

Would you bet your money on a racehorse that had lost its past 20, 30, or 50 races, thinking the horse is “due” to win?  Of course not!

There’s Winners and Losers and I Don’t Wanna Get Caught on the Wrong Side of That Line*
